Outstanding service today in Aviemore by Tony. My wife and I visited with our 4 year old who was creating havoc and turned the shop inside down! Customer service at its very best. Can’t recommend enough. 6 star review.

Incredibly lovely staff. Bought there 4-6 times over the course of 3 years, never been dissatisfied with service or products. The staff take the time to help you properly. I came in today looking for cleaning products for a goretex jacket covered in chain oil, rather than selling me something that wouldn't work they gave some splendid advice instead. Fairy Liquid did the trick to get the worst off which I didn't think would be possible, followed up by Nikwax. Very pleased!
This was my first experience into buying hiking and climbing wares. Tony was super helpful, shared his expertise knowledge, tips and advice. Helped me get the best ware!!!! I must say, although the shop was closed for business, he and his colleague (young chap, didn’t get his name) were so patient helped us with our purchase. I would highly recommend this place for their expertise knowledge and advice.
Perfect place to park and watch the sunset. The beach is stony and you can find amazing gem stones.

Just hired some B3 boots from here, after leaving mine on a train. The fella who sorted me out (Irish bloke) was a mine of great little bits of advice about wearing crampons, advice I didn't ask for and didn't think I needed, but which were brilliant in their simplicity. Just little tips about taking them off more easily, about lacing your boots up slightly differently etc., as he was adjusting my crampons to their boots. Really good customer service from someone who clearly knew his stuff. The crampon-compatible boots they offer for hire are Scarpa Freneys, 10 a day. No B2 boots available.

Staff went above and beyond the norm to ensure a replacement pair of boots got to me on time for a weekend of hiking. Good guys!
