Seriously recommend, even just as a fun day out. Really genuine feel to the staff, they are all dedicated bikers and all legit care about educating. It was the first time I've been out on the road (before was learning to drive a car) and not felt panicky. Jamie is a right charmer, and a really helpful, great instructor. All five of the instructors who i met on the course were real people with a passion for biking. Got my certificate at the end and feel really confident. Thanks AVSCO

Absolutely brilliant service, very helpful and always good for advice. Wouldn't take my bike anywhere else. If you haven't tried them then do not hesitate to give them a go. Kaz and Andy especially are great people but all of the crew are awesome. Highly recommended.

Great place. Staff are well informed and only too happy to offer advice to new and inexperienced riders. Really good for parts and labour costs around 54 per hour which for a mechanic is good. Also offer cbt courses and have a small shop for basic bike gear to get you started. Will definetly go back.

New rider with 10% bike knowledge, came to Avsco originally to tighten chain as fellow biker recommended, ended up getting a full crash course on everything i need to do to maintain my bike just because they didn't want me spending hundreds to fix it, genuine and honest people...would recommend to any new or experienced rider...also saw Ali Nawaz review below and think the complete opposite as a black Caribbean myself...they spoke to me no differently then any other in the shop. Defiantly my bike shop choice even though I live in Harrow.

I went there because there are no other garage around my area. They are VERY EXPENSIVE, for a job they asked me 280, I went to my usual garage and it cost me 180 for the same job. I Don't recommend this garage, shop around. Go towards London and you can get the job done quick and cheap ..

Avsco. The kind of service you just don't get any more. Grant was very patient with my phone-calls before-hand and answered all my queries. I knew his reputation with Aprilias from the owners forum, but was blown away by the knowledge, experience and slick spanner-twirling in the workshop. It's great to know your bike is being looked after by someone who genuinely wants to extract the best out of your machine and keep it running trouble-free. The atmosphere in the workshop couldn't be better, not least because Kaz made me feel really welcome as soon as I got there and I was given a front row seat at the workbench next to Grant while he worked on some advanced diagnostics and fault-fixing operations. I have known more than one GP that could benefit from Grant's 'bedside manner' while at the 'operating table'. On top of all this the charging was really fair and good value. I will happily make the 120 mile round trip again if necessary.

Family oriented bike shop with a wealth of experience - MOT and service - friendly staff and good advice.

Agree with all the previous comments - Andy and his team run a friendly, professional and flexible operation that is equally suited to first time bikers as 'old lags'. Despite living & riding in Watford since 1996 I only discovered AVSCO in 2013 whilst researching my son's first bike and will most likely switch to using AVSCO for all 4 of our bikes. Can't recommend them too highly.
