I wish that I could judge the quality of their work, but I can't as it takes ages for them to do anything. Communication is poor as there is none, I have phoned twice and sent messages twice in the last week, no reply to either message and no call back from my phone calls when I was told someone would get back to me. I did not choose to use them but got lumbered with them after they took over my original solicitors. I only have a simple request right now, the other thing that has been dragging on for a year now seems to be going nowhere either. I am sure the communication with an invoice will be the quickest thing that they do.

I chose to use express conveyancing to deal with the sale of our house and purchase of our new house. They then instructed AWH solicitors to act on our behalf. Overall our experience with them was good and they are very professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to conveyancing. I only have one critique which is that I received numerous phone calls from other people asking me if I could get in touch with AWH solicitors on their behalf because they were getting no response from them. People such as estate agents, mortgage broker and other solicitors in the chain seemed to struggle to get a response from my conveyancer so they kept ringing me instead which in the end got quite frustrating. It was however an extremely busy time of the year.

Overall it was a very complex and time consuming process involving the Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, multiple land titles, and other complexities. But our solicitor Sharon Tait was excellent. She responded quickly whenever she could and when the advance became available from the mortgage lender, the money was in our bank account the same day within a few hours of AWH receiving it.
