Handy shop that has got some stuff other model shops don’t.

I've been building a model railway for about 8 years now, so although I don't have need to visit very often, when I do, I usually find what I'm looking for. From the outside it almost looks too small to be worth bothering with, but once inside you realise it's a proper old school model shop with a surprisingly good range, from most of the established brands. The owner is friendly, very knowledgeable, and has given me (a complete model railway novice) some good free advice, and is usually able to order or try and source anything they don't have, such as our BR era HST. It's great for all your scenic needs to, with a good choice of ready made & kit buildings, materials etc. The prices of some items can seem a little overpriced, but equally you can also find some good bargains, so overall very fair. Let's face it, it's never going to be a cheap hobby, and I doubt I'm ever going to reach a point, where I'll consider our layout finished. Great place, that's well worth a visit, just don't blame me if you get carried away and spend too much.
29.06.19 just called the company. Very professional detailed knowledge and very helpful. Off to Aston Clinton before he shuts at 3pm on Saturdays........!!
Good place to go, if you want something to know about Model railway - small shop but a good selection of model railway needs - good and reliable service
Huge variety of all the latest stock. Everything is where it should be and is so organised. I feel SOME of the locomotives are a bit over priced, but of course if he's renting the building he needs to keep that up. Do go ahead and check his store out. He's just as good as my other go to, the man in Twyford.
