Spectacular waterfall in summer and winter, breathtaking scenery

Waterfall and walk in the woods were amazing. Great place to take photos ... must go. Parking very limited and dirt track to location.
Fairly narrow road for about 1.5 miles then a couple of hundred metres of very rough track to a small parking/turning area. Don't take your car if its very low or you're extremely precious about it. Once at the parking spot you are only feet away from the falls and the day I went was after heavy rain so the falls were truly spectacular. Keep small children close as there are sharp drops and the bridge parapet is very low. Visually stunning though. Worth the trip.
One of my childhood haunts, I grew up in Patna and dalmellington and thought I'd go revisit a place close to my heart, I was not disappointed! Absolutely gorgeous spot, recommend highly.
Lovely wee place. Tiny carpark though. Nice walk some bits are very steep.
