Busy, friendly restaurant at the top of the Gloucester road. Indoor and outdoor seating, table service. I had smashed avocado with two poached eggs on toast, my companion had a beetroot sandwich. Cappuccino was excellent as was the food. Recommended for a light lunch or breakfast. Total cost for two was 22 including two coffees, two meals and two soft drinks.

Bread is high quality and flavours are delightful. The only feedback is the focaccia needs some whole salt on the crust, but maybe that was just mine.
Pastries deserve a higher rating, they are not too bad. But the value for money is 3 out of 5 because service is not friendly, half of the products are not available early morning and at the same time prices are premium, e.g. 4.5 for a croissant with a filling. When you pay a premium price, you expect a good service in addition to a good quality product.

Love this bakery. Only been there recently but i love it. Good coffee, amazing sweet pastries. I’m in love with the almond croissant. Staff was very friendly all the time. Nice outdoor seating for sunny fall days.
