BEWARE!!!! Over fifteen years ago I received three root canal treatments and multiple mercury fillings from Mr. Chalmers. Since then, two of these root canals have become infected causing what the doctors call 'fibromyalgia'. Not only have these root canals become infected, one of the root canals (with three roots) was not excavated properly. One of the roots was not cleared out and this was what caused it to become infected. I have been ill for over fifteen years and the illness began only months after I had the treatment. I have been plagued with debilitating health ever since. I had the root canals removed and my health improved but the infection remains in my bloodstream. My symptoms have consisted of chronic arthritis in both arms, trigger points (and muscles spasms) throughout my body, and severe throat pain. I have been admitted to A&E twice with a suspected blood clot which turned out to be costochondritis. Last year there were days when I couldn't walk or talk and this condition has been like a black cloud throughout my entire adult life. Simply google 'why are root canals bad' and you'll find out why I have been so sick. Root canals should be illegal but when done by this kind of cowboy they can also be fatal. Infection kills, so if in doubt have your root canals pulled and save your life.
