Great food and service. We had a truly lovely evening here whilst we were visiting the peak district. I would characterise the food as deceptively simple but done very well. For starters we had crab souffle and and black pudding. Both were good but the crab was the best. I had the cod which was cooked to perfection, my partner had the chicken. We both shared a crepe Suzette which tasted great and was a nice show when it's set on fire. Service was attentive and friendly. Beats many places we have been to in London.

Amazing food, tasty and beautifully presented. My photos do not do the aesthetics of the food justice. Even if we hadn't gone during the eat out to help scheme it would still be good value for money. It worth noting your mains come with a sharing vegetables and some potatoes automatically and is not mentioned on the menu.

Fantastic food. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. I took the fried brie to start and it was crispy with a warm melted interior. The main dish was the lamb and it was spectacular. Perfectly cooked, soft and served with a delicious rich flavoured sauce. The desserts were a fitting finale for a great meal. Highly recommended.
Four of us went yesterday absolutely BRILL food very friendly staff.The double cooked crab soufflé melted on your mouth the black pudding & fish tart starters was loverly then chicken stuffed with garlic served on spring onion risotto, cod & mussels served on saffron sauce and lamb fillet all served with fresh veg. What a hidden gem was out first time but will not be our last, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Here’s to our next visit WELL done the owners️️️
