Just spent three nights at Bala Camping; what a little gem of a site. It has a perfect location, clean facilities and is well-run by Molly and her team. Other campsites could learn a thing or two about promoting sociable (as opposed to anti-social) behaviour of the campers. Rather than garish strobing light masts/outdoor lights and loud groups, it was peaceful, safe and family friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this site and I only wish I had found it years ago!

Fabulous place, the lake is just amazing, if only you could control the weather. Update - back for our second visit of the 2018 summer and can't recommend this place enough, it's simply brilliant. Molly and James have one of the best campsites, in my opinion (and I've visited many)

Beautifully located site with spotlessly clean facilities. We inadvertently fell foul of one of their rules but they handled it in a professional manner and left us with no I'll feeling. There is a narrow bridge in to the site, which is a bit disconcerting when you first see it but there wasn't an issue. I can see this becoming a regular for us with such easy access to the lake.

There is only 1 MAJOR complaint/issue I have with this campsite......they never have any space available!!! We absolutely love this site. It's perfect! Flat, spacious pitches, spotless facilities and absolutely lovely, friendly staff. All this, situated right on the stunning Bala lake.

Beautiful place to stay, we had a wonderful time here, last week despite many rain showers Camping with wonderful views on lake and mountains. Good tent patches, clean facilities, friendly owners
