Traditional Kung Fu taught within a club that has been going over 40 years. The classes have a very broad range of ages and ability (from just started to 10 years of training). There is also a children’s class held on Tuesday which is well supervised with several adults. The teaching is excellent and individually tailored to the student to bring out the best of their abilities. Progression in the style is managed through learning increasing complex set patterns of movement. More advanced patterns include staff and sword. I’ve been training for several years and I'm physically the fittest and mentally the strongest I have ever been. I’m also 20 kg lighter than when I started. Would recommend.

A great club environment to train in, with a friendly and welcoming instructor who is keen to help students push to harness their abilities while finding a balance between the physical and mental aspects of the style. The style itself (in my humble opinion) is a combination of all the most effective elements of Chinese Kung Fu. Students who have trained in other martial arts will recognise aspects of Wing Chung and even Aikido. Richard is always happy to discuss the tracable lineage of the style and why is has survived thus far. It's an interesting tale.

I'm 16, and I've been training for nearly a year at this club now. I find it's a great place to let go after a stressful week, and be fully concentrated and focused in surpassing your physical ability for an hour. Definitely recommend!

I have been coming to this class for a few years now and have found it to be great fun, very educational, and a great way to improve both my fitness, flexibility and strength levels. The class is very friendly and approachable, with a lot of beginners training each week alongside others who have been around for many years. If you want to learn eal\ kung-fu, with the nuances and subtleties that entails, then this is a great place to do it.

I started training kung fu here a few years ago, and was hooked after the first lesson! It's a great combination of craft, skill, strength and flexibility that has got me fitter and stronger than I've ever been, as well as learning a true martial art that can trace its lineage back to Chinese masters. Classes are fun and friendly (and sufficiently challenging!), and tend to be a mix of beginners and people who've trained for longer. The added bonus for me is that it's a great way to de-stress, so I've always found it mentally as well as physically rewarding. Highly recommended.
