When we first contacted Ballard Lofts, Martin Ballard explained the process to us from start to finish as we had no idea how things worked. Ballard Lofts not only did our loft conversion they also drew up all the plans and put them forward for council planning which I thought was brilliant! Martin also gave us 4 A4 pages of references to contact. When the work started, the builders Chris (Forman) and Dave always arrived at 7:45 ready to start work at 8, they were polite and well mannered. They always kept us up to date with what was happening and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. At every stage of the build Chris and Dave were tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. Towards the end of the build we went on holiday so Chris had a set of keys and carried on, we spoke every day and he kept us up to date with the progress. We are so pleased with the work that Ballard Lofts carried out and the way in which the builders conducted themselves through out the build, they were polite, hard working and trustworthy and we would be more than happy to recommend Ballard Lofts to our family and friends.

We used Jess Ballard to do our loft conversion and he was incredible from start to finish! Started and finished on time as planned and came in at the same price he quoted months before beginning the loft. He was a pleasure to have around the house, spotlessly clean and impeccable attention to detail. Everything was finished to the highest standard and he offered invaluable advice and opinions along the way as well as coming along on lots of evenings and weekends to discuss aspects of the build with us. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for hard working and honest builder, he is fantastic!
Martin was superb from doing the drawings to dealing with the local council. Once the work started I had Ian and Colin on the job who were superb and trustworthy. They suggested minor alterations to maximise space, were very tidy and went out of their way to make it simple and painless process. Mark did an excellent job on the woodwork. Exceptional workmanship at good value. I would highly recommend to others and will have no hesitation in using them in the future.
Ballard Lofts have done a fantastic job converting our loft into two bedrooms and a shower room. They were competitively priced and came in on budget. Jess and his team are very friendly and could not do enough for us...Jess is a perfectionist and wants the job to look better than you could imagine! We can highly recommend Ballard Lofts!
Martin ran our loft conversion project seamlessly. His architectural drawings were very detailed and he gave excellent advice on the best use of space/position of stairs. The build was on time and Martin's team worked really well (even in the snow and rain) around our busy family life. They kept the build space safe and tidy and we lived/worked in the house throughout the project. The result is a fantastic new loft room and shower room that flows well with the rest of our house for a very competitive price.

Ian and the team were a pleasure to work with; reliable, good communication, happy to discuss options and make recommendations. My conversion was a relatively small one, so not always straight forward - but great input to help me maximise the space and a good response or follow up on any questions or requests.
