A nice big park that runs alongside the Oxford canal. It has a cycle path that runs throughout and is a nice day out for dog walkers, picnickers and just people wanting a nice walk.

Had my very first session today at the gym. Darren was brilliant! Very patient with me, and recommended the different types of equipment that would be useful for me today. I've taken out membership after not going to a gym for over 15 years, and after today I will definitely be going at least twice a week.

Started back at the gym this week, a bit concerned as to how things would be concerning sanitation,/social distancing etc. Really shouldn't have worried. There are sanitation points located on entry and throughout the gym, wipes available and a one way system in force, also staff are constantly cleaning equipment. Minor few that still think wiping down with a towel is sufficient but if you clean equipment before/after you use for added safety there should be no problem.

I never could I say but during lockdown I really miss the gym while. I've been a member of this leisure centre now for 12 years and all everyone do is work out but I can imagine everyone is just as bored as me please open soon

I booked a gym session for 11.15am and couldn't make it due to car problems. I then went to re-book for 1.15pm however the app told me to call the centre to book. I tried to do so however I was put through to an automatic voice loop and wasn't put through to anyone on reception or otherwise. I walked to the gym and explained my issue and was simply told I couldn't book another one because I had already booked one in the morning. According to the app there was 33 spaces in the gym, the car park was empty and presumably the gym was too. I asked if I could just come in seeing as I had walked all the way there and was bluntly told 'no'. No apology or explanation. Surely common sense has to prevail if you have absolutely nobody in the gym and you're turning people away on the door just because they had some issues getting to their initial appointment? No apology or sympathy from receptionist staff doesn't help either.
