Wonderful fresh and delicious food. Everything I tried was wonderful. The sweetcorn fritters are amazing, the soups are so flavoursome and zingy and the curries are rich and warming. Just be careful what you order if you don't like chilli!

Fast service, clean environment and delicious food. We went yesterday evening for dinner. Had green curry, pad Thai and papaya salad. It was all.so good. The green curry had so much flavour and the pad Thai king prawns were big, juicy and delicious. We were satiated and satisfied with the food and speedy service. Only thing that was a little annoying was the phone, it was extremely loud and constantly ringing, I'd suggest they turn the volume down on it.

Delightful Dinner My partner and I went to the Bangkok Café for my birthday meal. With the demise of our favourite – the Thai House – we decided we would stay with the Thai tradition at the café owned by the same family. The less formal style of the Café made the meal very relaxing and the food was delicious. We started with Dom Yam Gung – a delicious and spicy prawn soup with lemon grass and galangal. A lovely warming bowl of deliciousness was a great start to the meal. We then shared three starters – Bor Bia Sot, Bla Muk Tord and Larb Gai – The tamarind flavour of the Bor Bia was wonderful, the crispy calamari of the bla muk tord was perfect with the chilli sauce and the minced chicken came in lovely lettuce leaves making them so easy to eat. All of them were delicious. For mains, my partner went for Bed Grapow, duck with tulsi (thai basil) and chillies with a yellow rice and steamed veg. As with the other elements of the meal the balance of flavours were perfect and the food fresh and crisp. My main course was Gai Yang Som Dam, a roast chicken dish with a sharp and taste som dam salad and sticky rice. I’ve been eating Thai food for thirty years, and I am still surprised by the richness of the flavour. Overall the Bangkok Café turned out to be a tasty experience in a simple setting, we will be back.

The food here is the best Thai food I've ever eaten outside of Thailand. Actually, it's probably the best Thai food I've eaten full stop. I HIGHLY recommend the Dom Kah soup and the Bangkok Noodles. They cater for veggies too, with a whole seperate vegan menu. The restaurant itself isn't anything to write home about, but it's got a chill cafe vibe, the staff are great, the place is really clean, and the food is out of this world.
