Brilliant service from the landlords and maintenance team fast and provide amazing help for any tenant. Highly recommend this place as tenants of first living for going on 2 years we received help within the hour of sending the message for maintenance !!!! AMAZING SERVICE !

Avoid this company if possible. The flat I rented throughout the academic year of 2019/2020 was terrible. When I moved in I was greeted by one of the office staff cleaning the flat, which was the only “professional” clean that was provided before I moved in. I was informed by the landlord that he hired students to clean my flat after I moved out, not very professional especially during a pandemic. The landlord, who was only involved with any of the business until lockdown due to his his staff being furloughed, does not know how to properly run a letting agents. He admitted he does not know the legal sides of the job and he stated, “why do the work if someone else will do it for me”. During the height of lockdown he insisted on multiple viewings so he would not loose money come September, even after I sent documentation stating landlords should not to conduct viewings during the lockdown period. He blatantly ignored requests for him and viewers to wearing masks inside and insisted on entering upon arrival. Most of the furniture provided was old and broken, when requesting issues to be fixed they would be lazily done and break within a few weeks. The so called “fire door” is the biggest hazard of the flat as the door itself does not lock, but this does not effect the safety of the flat as it does not open enough to allow anyone to pass through, which is not ideal in an emergency situation. Also noted that during viewings he blatantly lies about the structure of the flat, many of the built in walls do not follow housing regulations, and does not provide any privacy from the flat above, as you can hear conversations spoken as if you are standing next to them. I could go on to list every specific problem with the flat and the service provided, but I do not believe it is necessary. The landlord caused me a great deal of extra stress during an already stressful pandemic and I would advise anyone looking to rent a property with this agency to look elsewhere.

Great company and the landlord is excellent. We loved our year with first living and recommend them to anyone who is looking to stay in Bangor. The properties are well priced and furnished and if there’s any issues they get fixed straight away.

Can't believe how. Much they have helped me first living was there for me since day one they have helped me in every way possible gave me neccasties the landlord jhonny himself helped me a lot and specialy the person on the front desk abdullah helped me through out even showed me around and helped me with every paper work thanks to first living

Totally disappointing My deposit of 500 pounds was not given. I could not get it while my remaining friends at the IQ student accommodation company could get their deposit back. I'm calling here to return my depository and I will work until I get my depository and I will never give up.
