I see from some other reviews that the \chicken\ has given issues to some previous customers. I ordered chicken curry last night and the chicken was absolutely disgusting. Slimy and weird texture - I still can't figure out which part of a chicken this kind of meat would come from. It had the consistency of wet soft bread - which would have been less nauseating than this \meat\. Sally said the problem was with me and hung up the phone and that i expected \perfect chicken\. I was expecting edible chicken. Update: ordered beef curry and prawn chow Mein and to be fair... It was delicious. Just stay away from the chicken. Its truly awful. But Sally is a good cook and value is good.

Excellent waitress and service let down by everything else. Been here several times over the years and it's been good food, however this time the food wasn't great, overly vinegary sauce, sliced chicken was dried up and kind of yellow on outside, coke was flat, the garnish around the plate looked very old and dried up. Whilst I'm aware this place has always had a 1970s look inside but the sickly emaciated koi in the dirty fish tank and the dirty carpet didn't help the general ambiance. The place was too cold and I ended up putting my jacket back on. My 11 year old boy refused to use the toilet it looked so grotty. A revamp is definitely required.
