I was recommended Bar Block by a family member, and I wasn't left disappointed. I ordered the Fillet steak cooked bleu, and it arrived exactly as requested. The cut was truly up to quality, which I find to unfortunately be unusual in most \steakhouses\ but, rest assured this establishment knows it's cuts. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating of a party members allergies. They were knowledgeable of the menu and cooking processes to put the member at ease they would be fine dining there. All in all a great experience, made so much better by the current Eat Out to Help Out scheme; though I'd have no qualms returning at full price.

My partner ordered the 12oz fillet steak to come out med well and it first of all came out rare and then again as med rare. It took 3 goes to get it cooked correctly. I appreciate it was a very thick piece of steak which is very difficult to cook however as a place specialising in steak you would have thought this would not have been an issue. I had the Vege burger which had been left under the hot lights for too long and the bun was quite hard and the chips were not overly fresh. A bit disappointed to be honest. Nice place inside though and the staff were excellent especially our waiter.

Service was very friendly. The food was lovely! Had the Salt and Pepper Squid and cauliflower wings (which were amazing) for starters! The mains were beautiful and cooked to order! We had the chocolate hazelnut domes for dessert and they were lovely! Would highly recommend and will be back again soon!

Booked for a breakfast with my nearly two year old son and my fiancé, arrived to find the place almost empty! Greeted by a super friendly and welcoming member of staff. Prior requests for high chair had been accommodated for prior to our arrival which was fantastic. Food was good and there’s plenty of it! No fuss when asking for more. Member of staff to extra steps to make our visit COVID secure which was nice, also the little things like serving food on a cold plate for our little man really made us feel comfortable. Would highly recommend!
