I loved this bar! I stumbled across it with some friends last night and thought it was fab! Drinks are a bit pricey though!

My girlfriend and I always end up at this bar. I've had some absolutely quality nights here. Staff are really nice, good mix of mainstream and Latin music, enough to keep be dancing all the way til 6 sometimes. You know that if you end up here at 3am your night is going well.

Bigoted. Racial Profiling. Got three security guards to escort a Foreign guy out of the club. Accused him of dealing. Tried to get the friends that he was with to leave if they didn't turn against him. Paraded him through the club with security as if he did something wrong, ruining his and his friends' night. Searched him from top to bottom and found nothing on him. Offered no public apology, refund, nor the names of the people who reported him so that they could receive the same treatment. Embarrassing. Left in disgust Judging by previous reviews this is not uncommon.

Davidė or David the manager of the bar intentionally gave me the wrong change. Paid with a 10 note for a single costing 4.50 and given 50p change. I inquire to Davidė that he has given me the wrong change being 4.50 short but he waves me away. I do not come on a night out to be treated like this. It isn't the money which is the issue but the mere principle and disrespect that comes with it. Sack Davidė and our nights at Bar Republic will certainly improve. Apart from that everyone else is very pleasant and the music is good.

Too crowded and they don't have at all air conditioning. Floors are sticky most of the time, you don't have room to dance properly. Otherwise it's nice. Except the air conditioning, crowded, sticky floor.

The security guards are idiots they think they're the bosses of the night,but actually they are fat and bold. They didn't let me go in without any reason, I didn't drink any alcohol drink but they told me that I was drunk and stoned..impossible because I don't smoke and I don't drink .. I think they are racist and rude because I m not from England.. If you're thinking about going out in Bournemouth don't go out there. it is a waste time, therefore it is expensive, I know that because I was there once, And it is 6 pounds for a single..l tried to speak with the boss but he is even worse than the security staff... A stupid idiot...
