Spent 3 nights on site shiwer/toilet block cleaned regularly. Views fantastic owner Sarah very helpful and informative about places to visit . A bit noisy as just off A66. Would we visit again Yes definitely.

Very quiet, basic campsite. Beautiful views and the lack of light pollution means you get a beautiful starry sky when the clouds allow. It's worth knowing the site is on a hill so your likely to be on a bit of a slope if you go for a non electric pitch but all in all we had a lovely 2 nights away and the sunset, stars and general view were fantastic.
Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very close to Barnard castle . Had a very pleasant weekend. Will definitely be returning.xx
