I've been working my way through a degree for the past few years. I have found the tutors and feedback helpful, the online learning procedure easy to use and the whole online course very well organised. I would highly recommend.

Bland, uninspiring curriculum. Unengaged tutors. Don't bother, there are better ways to learn art online now.

So far a positive experience. Covid caused some issues with sticking to deadlines and they were more than understanding allowing an extension. The course (creative writing) is interesting so far. My only complaint would be the online portal can be a little difficult to navigate.

Really impressed so far with my course. My tutor is really helpful and so is the learner support team. The new online learning platform is effective and makes it easier to study. The OCA is great for studying arts subjects via distance learning, particularly if you have any health issues or need to study part-time for other reasons. Would recommend!

I studied here to top up my photography course I studied at my local college as a foundation degree to make into a full degree. I wish I never went down this route. The 'tutor' gave vague response hardly kept in touch, no clear direction or clarity. I sent my work via the post (over 50 in posting costs, about 5 A3 sketch books) to achieve just over pass grade, 40 points. When my tutor who had seen my work didn't give any response or how to make you achieve what is required is extremely poor. I stopped studying after this. The tutor I had is now still teaching at another online college. The OCA should take responsibility for poor staff and poor learning, it isn't cheap as a student I never felt the OCA actually cared after numerous enquires to them. I would not recommend this college to anyone.
