I've been to so many pubs in South Yorkshire over the years, and no pub or club can compete! I congratulate Lynn & Mel for their dedication and hard work. It's family friendly, very homely and they deserve a medal!! Keep up the great work guys

Mel and Lynn are great hosts and have time for everyone. They do great food and beers with special menus for events such as Valentine's day. They have a great variety of events throughout the month such as quizzes and the like. Most of all what they offer to the public draws in a good cross section of people. Well done the Prospect Tavern.

We took the kids to let them run off a bit of steam while we had a catch up, staff were extremely rude towards the children (who by the way, were in no way misbehaving!). Told them to "sit down and be quiet" as they had people coming in, turned out to be workmen coming back from work for a pint won't be coming here again!!
