I used A1 taxis to take my puppy to the vet this week on Tuesday. I had prebooked the car to go, then phoned to be picked up after the vet visit. Both drivers were really friendly and polite and made a fuss of puppy! Would definitely recommend and I'm keeping the number in my phone. Punctual and reasonable price too.

Best cab firm in Barnstaple, with really nice chatty & friendly cabbies. I've used A1 on a regular basis for a number of years now, & when the track your cab on a map became available it was most beneficial. So pleeeease if you haven't already could you put this back! Instead of the automated phone call to say your cab is outside.
Had the most lovely driver this morning, he was chatty and funny and made the journey safe, easy going and cheered me up. Sadly I didn't get his name, but would definitely recommend this service. Car turned up dead on time, and even though I had no signal to call them, they were very kind and helpful on the phone to my father.
