I use Co-dydramol tablets as pain relief for my arthritis and I have no complaint about the product its the packaging they are in child proof bottles I understand why but it is like a sick joke to use these bottles for people with twisted and narled bones in there hands I have brought it up with my chemist and was told to get someone to open them for me so I have to wait for someone to come in which can be a few days no matter how much pain I am in I feel you should take this on board when packaging painkillers

Hi. I have been taking aspirin for a number if years now and I find that the packaging for these are almost impossible to get into. I am only 63 and I'm struggling so I don't know how an older person or a person with arthritis would be able to get the tablets out.
I will endeavour to be polite. Can the MD of Actavis please go to the shop floor find a pack of aspirin and try getting into the actual tablets. When one finally reads the instructions(beggars belief) and find they are child proof you then have to individually with fine nails,if you have them ,strip the foil off each tablet then put in a container. This is mainly pensioners with poor dexterity.Aspirin can be bought loose at just about any store on the high street.Mine were on prescription which I have cancelled.
Like the 3 One Star reviews posted immediately beneath mine, find it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to peal foil off packaging of Aspirin 75mg acetylsalicylic acid tablets. In my opinion, Accord [Actavis] need to get this most urgently resolved, as otherwise in possible breach [certainly in spirit] of Equality Act 2010 [due to particular difficulties caused to some with physical disabilities frail elderly]. When phoning Actavis re the problem, gentleman I spoke to came across as friendly and said that Actavis looking to resolve the issue; but because I said I may have missed one or two doses as result of problems accessing tablets from packaging, he requested details of my GP so they could report this, which although they may possibly say they wanted to do out of a duty of care; rightly or wrongly, to me it smacked of trying to transfer the blame for the consequences of very difficult access, from Actavis to myself.
Heard the name of this on Dr. Dre - Medicine man
