Amazing food. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cosy location. • You have to book ahead to get a table. - Not super accessible for wheelchairs due to small size but staff are accommodating and will make space. Overall if you're in North Devon you should absolutely visit The Everest Gurkha Chef.

Great food. Best Indian restaurant in Barnstaple. Every dish I have tasted is amazing and you can tell that a lot of care has been taken. Highly rate the Chilli Chicken & Chilli Panner.
Best curry in North Devon. Worth just going to inhale the amazing smells in there. Doing safe distance/no contact takeaway during lock down.
Really tasty well cooked food....best nan bread I've had outside of India. A wee bit pricey considering the decor and bring your own beer but still worth it for the food
Excellent fresh food. No frills decor. BYO alcohol. Vegetarian options look few but they will cook all main dishes with paneer, if you ask.
