All of the GP's here are really helpful and every Doctor I've been treated by has been as helpful as they can. Unfortunately the Reception team and administrative stuff have caused a lot grief. I've been on a waiting list at a specialist clinic that had to close due to Covid, upon them reopening, the specialist clinic has been trying to book my appointment, but they are unable to due to the fact that the barton house administrative staff (Monique) have not provided the correct information on my referral. I've spoken directly with a GP about this issue and they said they would take care of. Unfortunately Monique has gone out of her way to disrupt me getting the help I desperately need. The GPs, the Specialist clinic are on the same page and trying to help me but for some reason Monique on the administrative team won't give the necessary information to the specialist clinic so they can go ahead and make my appointment. It's incredible frustrating when you're in pain and trying to get treatment and administrative incompetence is the thing stopping you from getting the help you need. I have had to repeat myself over and over again to different staff members and they have really let me down. In the past I have missed appointments because the staff had not notified me I had had appointments made on my behalf, they have also forgotten or not bothered to forward me referrals . The staff here won't ever automatically give you a copy of your referrals unless you badger and nag them. In summary the doctors are great, but the admin team are untrained, incompetent, aggressive and unprofessional. I'm not receiving the much needed treatment I need because of bad admin (Monique)...

Do not go here. I have had endless issues with this GP :(. To name a few examples, I've had my prescription sent to a pharmacy in a different city, after agreeing with the doctor to have it sent to the pharmacy across the road. When I eventually got the prescription, they gave me an incorrect quantity. I was referred to another clinic for what I thought would be a consultation, the doctor thought I was going in to have a procedure? They seem to have chunks of my medical history missing? I have to constantly repeat myself every time I go in for prescriptions, and they have saved some of my information incorrectly? I have asked to change it multiple times. From my personal experience, its been very unorganised, there seems to be a massive lack of communication. I also find it painfully difficult to make an appointment. I 100% wouldn't recommend.

The Doctors at Barton House of late have been fantastic. I have been with Barton House for nearly 30 years but didn't find it particularly good in the early days as I found it nearly impossible to get a referral for anything and so I'd end up giving up. However, over the last year or so I have found the doctors so helpful and open to referring me to different services such chronic pain clinic and I've been properly diagnose for longstanding health issues. Thank you so much Barton House you've been amazing.

On hold for 2 hours, not the first time I might add. 3 weeks waiting time to see a doctor. Always running minimum 45mins to an hour late once your in the surgery. And the customer service is poor in person and on the phone.
