I was hit by a car and fortunately I was okay, I am eternally grateful for the doctors and nurses that cared for me, despite me having no lasting damage. I was taken there in an ambulance, and seen the second I got there rushed straight into resus, before having 2 brain scans which fortunately were fine.

Worst experience and worst hospital to ever visit after 5 hours wait they told me we will give you some paracetamol because there are no doctors to see you. Please avoid this rubbish hospital

We are still here, in the children department wagtail world . all I can say is that they have an amazing team when we come here starting with the nurse at the trial ( that was such a nice and professional ) until the dinner ladies we had just a lot of attention and care. The nurses in the wagtail department are so nice and make you feel comfortable and safe. All the requirements are met. Big thank you to the doctors that saved my boy. Lots of good and professionals staff here. Thank you to all the Staff from Basildon Hospital, that made our journey here a nice experience! With faithful and live Octavian, Ecaterina and Marius

Waste of time. Come with 3years son, wait 5hours, and 2am nurse told shift finnished so we must share doctors with adults a&e. Wait another hour just for 5min check. No blood or urine tests.. nothing. Doctor told if will be worse go to your gp.. Till 2am was 2 doctors and 5-6 nurses which doing nothing in some reception. This is waste of tax payer money.. should be 5 doctors and 2 nurses..

Basildon children's A&E department are fantastic. The nurse Chelsea is so professional and caring , the staff here are simply amazing, I cannot thank each and every one of them enough. professional, kind, caring and thorough. I have had to visit with my little girl who suffers with asthma and allergies several times over past few years and I just think they are amazing with children . The doctors and nurses here are truly great at their kind profession . We are extremely lucky the have such great doctors and nurses, I am so grateful for you. Thank you , thank you and again 'thank you'.
