Dr Afzal was so lovely with my 5 year old daughter. He put her at ease immediately and straight away knew the issue from my quick rundown of her symptoms. He put her on a suitable course of treatment and gave us links to useful information. He also gave us his email address for any queries between appointments which was really handy. Definitely recommend for getting children into good toileting habits.

We are so lucky to have met Dr Afzal. He was determined to make our son better and he did! It was a rocky road but the confidence we all had in Dr Afzal reassured us that we would get there. He always goes beyond the call of duty and he is totally focused on resolutions for each of his patients. You never ever feel that this is just a job for Dr Afzal - it is his mission to conquer IBD and ensure his patients live full lives. His encouragement, passion and cricket chat have inspired my son and we as a family will be eternally grateful that our paths crossed with Dr Afzal.

After years of mismanagement at Great Ormand Street Hospital we were starting to think that we would never cure our beautiful little boys constant pain and suffering. It was a very frustrating time, taking our son (with severe special needs and disabilities) backwards and forwards to the middle of London to this so called centre of excellence for children’s heath, the best in the world, it certainly is not..! It brings a tear to my eye just writing this review looking back at all the unnecessary suffering my little boy endured.. Thank god (which ever one you believe in) that we found Dr Nadeem Afzal. This man promised my son that he would have him fixed in six months, and you know what, he did..!! The final operation was a success and our little boy is finally fixed, he is no longer in terrible pain and his cheeky little smile that Dr Afzal put back on his face is a joy to see. A massive thanks to Dr Nadeem Afzal (and his team), he is a straight talking, no messing around type of guy and he get the job done..! We are all so glad that we were able to move our sons care into Dr Nadeem Afzal’s very capable hands.
