Seized my phone even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the case then told me to come back with proof it is my phone when I returned they told me I would not get it back even though the phone is brand new with a new contract started. Then told me to give them the passcode so it can be dealt with that day, they lied nothing was recorded on the system. When I called they don’t even have a record of me speaking to them, now I am worried my phone will not be returned (new iPhone very expensive) and these are the people trusted to keep up the law?!? They are liars!

Absolutely unhelpful!! I thought police are suppose to be help us and investigate crime properly, but told they can't do that because it's time consuming!! What they were trying to say is.. it's not worth looking into and cost them money.! Why can't they around Basingstoke town more instead of being behind phone??!! I was the one who investigated and did everything I even passed phone number for them to investigate but failed to show their true duty and support, and telling me to rely on social media and all sorts.... Why can't police force actually be part of our community and show true support towards us no matter what? I wonder.... what made them to decide to become police in the first place....? I am terribly DISGUSTED with police. They will definitely need to rethink if they are truly part of this community and they are there to support us or is it just name called POLICE???

Very helpful, when my foreign gf lost her passport (dvla lost it in typical fashion) and needed to notify them of an address change but was just past the normal period of which she needed to do it, they understood, let her off and let her know alternative ways in which she could let them know of an address change. really polite receptionist. They could have been very difficult and followed the \book\ but they choose to be understanding and i am most grateful
