I don't like Costello that much, Because most of the teachers there are horrible. And I have better thing to do rather than be at school all day. But on the other hand it's a good school, because they help me do thing that I don't understand. And it can be fun sometimes but not too much. This is just my opinion on how I feel about this school.

I am a local resident, who walks my dogs, and have done for the last 9 years, in The Memorial Park and Basingstoke Common on a daily basis. For all of those years now, I have watched, in absolute disgust, the appalling and shocking amount of plastic bottles, crisp packets, sweet wrappers, drinks cans and even cigarette packets build up in the section fenced off between the public walk way, and school playing field. I have, on many occasions witnessed the children throwing litter there, as well as all around the area. On the several occasions when I've approached them about it, I am met with either verbal abuse or just complete ignorance. The situation there is now beyond tolerable, and I am absolutely appalled that, in this day and age, when we know fully, the facts about waste and especially plastic, the powers that be at this school are still allowing the situation at all, or to continue. Make the children do something useful, and pick it up!

According to Ofsted's report, it's one of the better schools in Basingstoke. Nice number of students and good ambience. Teachers were fair to me.
