Amazing walks for all the family. Play park is great for the kids and you get the fresh air you all need too.

The bottom car park has so many pot holes, it is dangerous. Surely something can be done. There's a pile of gravel there. Couldn't some of the ground staff fill them in? Would be greatly appreciated by many.

Quite muddy in places, but still a decent place to go for a walk with the dog. Plenty of routes to go around the whole park, and a cafe near the Hall itself is open for refreshments. Lower car park desperately needs attention to fix the gigantic pot holes, but otherwise good.

Met up for a socially distanced walk with two of my sisters and their dogs. Arrived around 1.15pm and found the main car park near the visitor centre cordoned off, for reasons unknown, so it was very busy parking on the road and the overflow car park. Had a great walk, though very slippy and muddy after the recent rain we've had. Out for around two hours so enjoyed the walk and fresh air in the winter sunshine. Need your wellies on for most areas or walking boots.‍️‍️‍️

Really glad we found this place. Plenty of trails on site & very popular with dog walkers. We walked our two dogs & on the day we went, the grounds were very clean. House was not open at the time (Sept 20), but the garden was and there is a small cafe round the back of the house with seating outside. The cafe has hot & cold drinks & cakes available, including gluten free. They also have soya milk available. You can take your dog into the cafe if on a lead. Service was quick & friendly. There are also toilets (including disabled facilities) & a gift shop nearby. There is carparking on site, including disabled bays. You can walk to the Countryside Centre along the Nature Trail. The site also has children's play areas.
