Really nice cod and chips. I had the large and couldn't finish it. Good value for money, friendly staff.
Great location. Terrible service and food. Young staff who are more interested in their conversations than serving customers. Frozen chips, over cooked and very dry (left out for too long?) cardboard texture and taste. 2.60 for a bag of chips is expensive even for the location. Would not come back and would recommend avoiding.
Well situated beach cafe, at the start of the pier and right next to the beach. Plenty of seating inside and outside along the prom. Clean, tidy and well presented both inside and out. Outside there are well stocked condiments trolleys, where there is also cutlery and menus to browse. Plenty to choose from on the menu, not just fish and chips! Children's menu as well. Food was being freshly cooked so there was a wait but not long, food brought out to our table. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed the lunch we had. The food is really good and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful.
Fish was nice. Chips were very dry and obviously been hanging around for a while as only warm. Tasted like frozen oven chips. Probably wouldn't go again.
Located on the pier. A good selection of meals, drinks and snacks. Has a nice size seating area both inside and out. I can imagine it is very busy on a warm day though! Waiting time was long considering the amount of people but it can be like this sometimes in a lot of cafes. Food tasted good but only had the jacket potato so don't know what the other, more substantial food is like. Good place to stop.
Straight from the freezer. Over priced rubbish. Friendly service, lovely views. Absolute shame.
