Good size station, there are a few places to get something to eat and drink here and a few seat's as well. Ample parking and a bus stop, also disabled access. The toilets could be a bit cleaner.

Not many people around due to C-19 I guess. Really odd to see the station very quiet at rush hour. All refreshment facilities closed.

Wonder why there is just one bridge for a busy station, when a quiet station like normanton in west Yorkshire got a new one when not needed Makes me wonder what network rail planning teams do Station is generally clean and safe , toilets are refitted in October 2020. Staff willing to help too. Thameslink is not reliable though...

A very helpful lady in the ticket office gave me a couple of face masks ( I had lost mine on my bike ride somewhere between Kimbolton and Bedford). She also said she would refund the money from my ticket if I was unable to travel to Kettering. As it turned out, the train replacement bus service couldn't accommodate my bike, but I did eventually find a train I could catch - over two hours later!
