A wonderful hostel, comfy beds and the most amazing staff! 11/10 would recommend, and will be coming back for my next trip to Belfast :) Erika and the volunteers working with her are super kind and unbelievably helpful! I had a lovely time!

This is the place to stay in Belfast. I'll admit that I am biased towards the genuinely awesome staff. I found Erika (the boss) to be an intriguing blend of quietly inspiring & easy to converse with (regarding a plethora of topics). I challenge you to ask her literally anything. Bet you'll learn something! Also, I will never forget the rejuvenation she provided me via alt ice cream. Isaure is an absolute delight to be around and definitely deserves chocolate. She spoke to me right away as if we we were long lost friends and this wasn't just welcoming; it was wonderful. You might end up singing a naughty french song before you're gone. I truly felt so much at home around these 2 that it was hard to leave for any purpose at all. As for the actual place, it's conveniently located, totally clean, everything runs pretty smoothly since it's all impeccably organized and the beds are noticeably comfier than average! A home away from home. If you're at home appreciating the little things with other kind, eccentric beings.

Very homey hostel. Comfortable beds. Really friendly conscientious patrons. They offer laundry service for 5euro! Takes all day, but that's fine because I was out and about anyway! Very convenient. I loved that they offered complimentary teas and breakfasts. They also are vegan friendly and offer alternative milks and a list of vegan friendly restaurants in Belfast. They have their own causeway tour as well, and I wish I had taken it because it's half price to regular tourist bus companies. Would recommend and stay again! Best value for about 20euro per night!

This is a fantastic hostel! The owner and all of the workers are an absolute pleasure, the building has a great location and feels so comfortable and homey. I would definitely stay again if I’m back in Belfast and would recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone!

The pictures on the website don’t to this place justice!! It is incredibly cute and cozy! The beds were super comfortable and the vibe overall was very homey. It’s the perfect place for single travelers or small groups. The staff we incredibly nice and really helpful in arranging tours/providing suggestions. I cannot recommend it more!

Botanical Backpackers was the perfect hostel for our stay in Belfast. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit. The neighborhood felt safe and we found it walkable and easy to navigate. It was an easy enough walk from the bus/train stations, close to the Ulster Museum and Botanical Gardens (budget friendly ways to spend the day), and we found amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Facility wise, Botanical Backpackers has a somewhat small, but well stocked kitchen, with everything we needed to prepare meals. There was a bit of traffic around the bathrooms and showers, but seasoned hostel stayers will easily make do. The rooms were comfortable, with enough space, outlets, etc. to go around and we felt safe being able to leave our documents and valuables secured in a convenient locker. The beds were quite comfortable, by hostel standards, and both my companion and I slept well. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to offer helpful tips such as where we could change money and great places to spend the afternoon. All in all, I would definitely recommend Botanical Backpackers for a quiet, comfortable, affordable stay in Belfast.

The rooms are clean, the shower was great! The host Erika was amazing and evidently goes out of her way to make it feel homely! The place had an over all nice atmosphere with people from all over, all very friendly. The volunteers Anna and Suzanne were also wonderful and always had an Irish pub on hand to recommend.

This little cosy hostel is different. Hidden gem, if you are looking for peace, quiet, hospitality and contact with locals. Runnig by owner. Strong attitude to details, to make your stay as comfortable as possible (like two pillows on your bed, good equipped kitchen, incredible clean everything). Not for party animals. Great location. Would stay again.
