Complained to GMC Belfast about my former GP (D.Simpson from Bangor Health Centre)to them , as she told CAPITA PIP medical assessor (S.Roe) I do not suffer any health issues, despite I have permanent lifelong health condition. I asked GP if it was mistake or she was asked to do it to harm me but I was told it was not a case. I got very upset, as my PIP was stopped due lack of medical evidence, plus GP removed me from patient list. Complained to GMC about doctors conduct, but nothing was done. I complained to GMC Belfast, but my case went to GMC Manchester (to Karen Rose). She told she can not take any actions, and told me not to put it online, as I might be taken to court for doing that. Never seen that kind of arrogance in my life.I Hope they are not going to bring me to court or kill me in the near future for fighting my PIP., but never know....

I don't know where my hard earned tax is going. In case emergency waiting time is 10hours, can't make appointments with gp, very stressful

I consider it is about time the General Medical Council started speaking up on behalf of patients who are going through the degrading and extremely stressful debacle better known as the PIP process. These people are not getting support from GPs who are not filling in medical evidence forms because this is not part of their job description and as a result of lack of medical evidence people are being turned down for PIP. I am aware that people can request evidence from their files. However if we all turned up at our GPs requesting maybe 5 years plus evidence then if practices workloads are already under pressure it will be nothing to what it will be if staff are having to provide this paperwork for many of their patients. I am also aware that GPs will apparently complete forms in respect of PIP appeals. This is too little too late. For some people such as those who suffer from depression they simply in some cases do not have the energy to pursue an appeal resulting perhaps in suicide. This is absolutely disgraceful. It is high time that GMC and GPs started speaking out for patients.
