I hold the dependent UK Visa and with my job offer i really wanted the bank details to be submitted quickly, without which I was not able to get my start date. I explained this to the customer support in call and also during the appointment. But they didn't accept any of the proof that I had with me as a residential proof. Being new to the city, and holding the dependent Visa within a month of period in the city I can only have is my rental agreement along with my id proof. I think for these kinds of cases, it would be good if bank can keep some alternative solutions which will ease the customer's life. And i ended up opening the bank account with some other bank where they accepted my documents.

Age old tech, takes too much time for account setup, debit card delivery.Strange that pin delivery will not be notified to account holder. From my experience, what i have seen so far, this is worst banking service.Their NetBanking is a joke, 5-6set of passwords and when you login after all that, the services available are so basic. Why make it hard and complex to login?Ever heard of two factor authentication?I do regret going to them. When I got the debit card finally,it had two different card in the envelope, banking advisor took one and destroyed it in front of me stating it came in as a mistake. I still don't understand these guys, was it all a joke ?
I would like to thank Anchete for all his help and for being very patient with me due to my speech competition. So very very patient, understanding and friendly thank I u so much for all ur help
After waiting in queue outside witch is understandable id been left waiting in a pod for an hour and still waiting as I type this
Maybe I'm just unlucky or have high standards, but this bank/branch has made nothing but mistakes. Only plus is not needing an UK address to open up an account. Will switch as soon as I've set up an address within UK.
