Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of space to move around, and a large Tv. Screen at the far end of the shop. One draw back I think you have to pay for coffee or tea. Otherwise a good shop to punt in, best odds guaranteed.

Not sure what the general verdict is in relation to customers of Mr Toal's bookmaker offices, but they might be interested to know that the man himself is less than pleasant when it comes to close encounters with ordinary folk like myself. Nonetheless, I must have drawn the shortest straw as a bus driver when I picked none other than himself up - inclusive of family and friends - outside what I assume was his big fancy house in Holywood, County Down one Sunday morning. Anyhow, they all boarded already complaining about my not looking after their recently christened baby while they were all dressed to the nines. Obviously the atmosphere was already tense, but was about to get a lot worse when I picked them up again later that afternoon. When I arrived they were all pretty liquored and nasty, while commenting on how I should drive. When we returned to Holywood they started barking orders as to who was getting off where and that I should do what I was ordered! In sum, I was essentially hijacked where I ended up as not a one-stop drop-off bus service, but a Holywood taxi service. Obviously I started getting nervous and said I have another pick-up in an attempt to get rid of them, which resulted in Mr Toal standing up behind me to physically confront me while being restrained by his friends & family. Meanwhile, I was subjected to further verbal abuse by his women-folk while someone who I assume was his son attempted to board the bus to assault me - and all this happening while a baby was on-board. Needless to say I called the police who later questioned him, although couldn't charge him due to insufficient evidence, or rather his clan covered up for him. Anyhow, I'll not be placing any bets at his locations anytime soon, while if you're reading this and are inclined to part company with your money at his establishments, you might want to consider just what sort of guy you're giving your money to.
