I have been with this surgery for the best part of 15 years. Every time I've been in in the 2 or 3 years my appointment has been late by at least 30 mins and on one occasion 2 hrs. I recently had a road accident that left me with several broken bones and the hospital informed the surgery that I had moved. I was previously registered at my parents and didn't want to move, so hadn't told them. It's close to my work and convenient. I phoned to arrange an appointment to change my dressing at which point I was informed that I had been 'expelled' from the surgery because I'm not in their catchment area and to top it off the receptionist was shirty with me. So they've basically given me no option but to change doctors right in the middle of a traumatic part of my life when I really need good medical care. Great service!

If I could give them no stars I would. You can never get an appointment reagrdless of situation. Reception are rude and unhelpful and talk to you like you should know and just tell you call at at 8 am. This is stupid as some of us at work or are busy at 8am. Then they only take bookings for that day. If your moving to Berkhamsted or thinking of changing surgeries then don't use this surgery. When you do get an appointment you will be waiting for a while. This is a minor issue as Doctors like all people can get extremly busy. The Doctors are great once you are seen to but it's the getting seen to that is the problem.

Borderline impossible to get an appointment, and some doctors can be very flippant/dismissive of patients' concerns. When you're already going through a distressing time with your health, the last thing you need is a doctor who is permanently unavailable.
