A most excellent cookery school with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere and well paced demos and practicals. Loads of tips and tricks. Course materials are excellent and everything is provided. Lots of breaks for refreshments (omg the cakes and pastries were still warm from the oven) and lunch was lovely (with wine). Well worth the money. Bring a friend along too. Easy to find and loads of parking. Top draw stuff.

Betty's delivers complete and real skills training in many areas of baking and chocolate making. A modern purpose built facility with easy access and parking. This is a school where you have to work and you will achieve a tangible and rewarding result. Completely and utterly professional from start to finish in straightforward Yorkshire.

What a fantastic way to spend a day. All the staff are friendly, knowledgable and so very approachable. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and at ease. My bread making experience was punctuated with lots of Bettys food, tea and coffee - what a treat. There was lots of laughter to go with the serious business of bread making. I felt supported when I needed support and able to go at my own pace as my confidence grew. I'm already planning my next cookery day at Bettys. Thank you all of you for a wonderful day.

Dig Deeper

We were very well looked after. From starting the day with croissants and coffee, to the chef/teacher coming round regularly to check we were okay. Lots of lovely things made by the end. All the staff were super.

Excellent Great recipes, very intuitive, fantastic venue and lovely staff have attended many times and m,any others but none compares to Bettys.
