Met Ray for the second time today. As a Bonsai enthusiast myself, it was great to see and share thoughts and ideas. Great guy with lots of knowledge. Prices he quoted are very very reasonable compared to most other Bonsai nurseries I have visited. Look forward to my next visit. Hope your health improves soon. All the best Gary White

just started bonsai as a new hobby and happened across ray who has been extremely helpful, he is a lot cleverer than he looks!! also has a great sense of humour. his knowledge on bonsai is second to none and has been more than happy to share it. i would recommend anyone slightly interested in bonsai to go along and see ray and his amazing collection and am sure they will soon be as hooked as me. Another visit to ray resulting in the purchasing of beautiful tree at an amazingly cheap price and a choice of pot from an extensive collection, chose a great authentic japanese pot to really show the tree off. lots of great advice and even a rendition of amazing grace if you ask nicely!! a truly enthusiastic teacher of all things bonsai.
In a quiet corner of Bexhill lies a very special place, a place of healing and peaceful reflection. But this is not just a healing of the human mind tho’ it does this rather well. You can sit and ponder, surrounded but the sound of running water and the swish of fins in the water of the carp pool and the sparkling water that links the tank & the pool. Here is healing for something rather special, you are surrounded by trees, some very old, all very small, they are bonsai trees. So many in this quiet space. If you want specialist care for a tree or to acquire one this is the place to come. Bill & Ben knows his bonsai. It is a pleasure watching him practice his art, shaping a branch, letting in the light and layering the new pot with stones and moss. There is also interesting conversation so be prepared to stay for a while to absorb the tranquillity and atmosphere of this special place.
I went over to meet Ray he has revived my Bonsai Tree what a nice chap if you can get a word in lol. The knowledge he has in Bonsai Trees is second to none, he has made my tree look brilliant which is an English Elm. I am so pleased with it. I would say if you are interested in Bonsai he is the one to go and see. Thank you Ray for a very interesting day! Doug.
This is an amazing place. A Bonsai Garden of Eden, if ever there was one. Ray loves his trees and I cannot thank him enough for his advice and patience.
My son brought my Chinese Elm bonsai to you as I am isolated during Lockdown. Having discovered how prescious the tree was to me and that it had died, he carefully prepared it for me saying the soul could remain in the pot with the tree and adding lovely stones, a small rock, greenery and a small Chinese figure. Although the tree will never leaf again, it stands proud and tall in its pot and will give me much comfort. I have only met you Ray through my son, but I would like to thank you very much for your kindness during this difficult time . I hope that when I am set free I can come and see your beautiful trees for myself !!

Went to see Ray today for some advice on two trees he ended up repotting one and trimming and the other one trimming going back in a few weeks to repot the other tree very knowledgable man I have learnt a lot in few hours I was there hope to see him soon Brian
