The Tempest

If you have a small business , STAY AWAY these people don't care about your financial situation due to covid and pressure their customers for money. I signed a 3 year contract . Worst 3 years of my life , I turned into a alcoholic and came back from rehab just to get another phone call on my gas bill. Please listen , avoid this company no cheap prices everything is a lie , and their customer service team is sooo bad I can't describe it. If you disagree with readings they sent ( estimate ) they still charge you overpriced gas and electric , I had a contract with Eon for 6 years and never had 1 problem. I'm now in debt and struggling with everything 2807.69 is what I owe them , for 1 month

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM!!! If I could give no stars I would! We joined over the phone and was promised "cheap" prices which went fine for a while but and after 3 months of being with them, they claimed we were using over 1000 per month in electric, we are running a very small shop so this isn't possible. We paid to have an electrician come out to test everything who agreed Valda were charging too much but when I sent the documents from the Electrician to them, they didn't even acknowledge it and instead asked for another meter reading. They changed our usage graphs on the app multiple times and claimed we used the least power on a Sunday when we are open and a "normal amount" when we are closed on a Monday, this makes no sense. I will be taking this further because this sort of business should be shut down, I can't imagine the amount of people who could lose their businesses and livelihoods due to companies like these!

SCAM!! Recently joined with this provider after being promised cheap prices! After less than one months supply they have taken nearly 500 in payments already! One of which being a card payment this evening which I did not authorise at all! It shows I’m in credit with my account but the figures do not add up! Will be contacting the ombudsman office tomorrow morning! They are ripping people off! !!AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

its just so stressfull and annoying.since strating every month the bill is over 400 and i was submiting meter reading every month dont know how they gave me bill for 2500 for just in one moth as its not geniune anyway and agin they put me on another one year contract, its just going drain pipe our money. we use every month same electricity so bill should be same every month.how its 2500?? and we have LED lights all over the shop and shop size is soo small as well.

I wish i could give them 0. STAY AWAY scammers pressured me into a contract over the phone "cheapest around". Had concerns about my bill from day 1 been pushed aside every time or ignored, been charged over 1400 already for an 8 month period in which i was closed for 3.5months of this using no electric, being charged double what i should be paying ! customer service don't care. so taking it further. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Possibly the worst energy company going. Took over 9 weeks to get the national database update through them in turn left my business without electric for 9 weeks, a simple procedure that should take 5 days took a complaint through citizens advice and a solicitor to get this sorted. To top it off they also took payments of 100 out my bank for the supply of energy even tho I had no power what so ever. My advice stick with a well know company valda either has no idea what they are doing or are clearly out just to rip people off.
