Worth a visit. We enjoyed it and we know nothing about boats or other maritime life. The house the museum in situated in is full of history too. Our kids had a go on the air raid siren. Not too pricey either and there are knowledgeable staff to help.

Great little museum packed with nautical exhibits and information over two floors. Friendly and helpful staff. Small carpark opposite the museum but had no trouble parking. Will visit again.

Fascinating local museum detailing the maritime history of the local area. Far more to read and understand than you'd think! Museum is about 8 themed rooms spread over two floors. Lots of models, photographs and descriptions. Toilets are available. Car park across the road.

Went here yesterday after looking on the website, its says it is open, paid 2 parking got to the museum it was closed. There was no were else to go so left. Waste of parking money. Please change your website to closed.
