Richard is an experienced guitar tech, who upgraded my tuners, wham bridge, pickups, pots, wiring, and a fret-level and setup. I am extremely happy with the results. Before the work, my 20yo Yamaha Pacifica 112V would produce so much hum, only the 2 humbucking positions (2,5) were useable at all, it struggled to stay in tune for a whole song, and it lacked anything resembling a strat-like tone. Now all 5 positions are useable, the humbucker can be split to act as single coil, and provide another humbucking position (4), and it sounds very American strat-like now with good quality, and well researched replacement pickups. The Pacifica 112V is a good, solid, alder/maple/rosewood super-strat design let down by cheap hardware, but it plays well, and has a great neck. With the upgrades, it has been completely transformed to the guitar it should always have been.

Took a couple of instruments for a service autumn 2019. The 6 string was cleaned adjusted and restrung for 35 and was returned to me like new - is now a pleasure to play. The 12 string (which I thought needed more work) was adjusted and improved for 20. Picked up a cheap guitar stand too... So, quality, honest work. I'll definitely return

The favourite of my guitars, a Gibson ES -335 Memphis, had been completly butchered by a local 'guitar tech' via a refret job. I was recommended to go and see Justin the guitar tech at the Billericay workshop, and I'm so I glad I did! His attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship is superb. I had the pleasure of taking the 335 to the studio last night and it has never played better! I can highly recommend Justin, I'll certainly be seeing him again in the future.
