Exceptional food and service! Loved our meal, as you can see from my picture the Lamb shank was nothing short of delicious and cooked to perfection. The speed at which the food was cooked was equally super. I was slightly disappointed by my desert of mince pie strudel as it was served with chocolate sauce. It would have been better enjoyed with cream or clotted cream ice cream.

Had a fabulous meal this evening. Very friendly attentive staff, lovely building and her garden to the rear. Delicious well presented food. More expensive than average pub fayre but worth the price. (And we got it half price thanks to the government scheme).
Suberb food from a large and varied menu. Excellent customer service and safety measures in place. Wonderful setting. A great time had by all.
Despite the venue being very busy and we had no reservation and there being a wedding event in half the venue the staff were very on the ball with helping us get seated, served in timely fashion and assisting with our order and choices. They regularly attended to our table checking we had everything we needed and were very friendly indeed. The meal was very good, the vanilla creme brulee was the absolute highlight of the 3 courses i could have polished off another one. Well done, very good. Would recommendm
