Fabulous, honest and trustworthy. Andy's experience and knowledge is invaluable and the all round service is personal, friendly and consistent. My first experience followed a large quote from another garage for some advanced diagnostic work up and smoke test, after several mechanics had examined the car and run repeated diagnostics, with an overall predicted bill of over 1500 for the likely fix. Andy spent 15 minutes with the car, identified the problem and fixed it, all for 40 including the replacement part! I have used them ever since. I would strongly recommend you use this garage to look after your car.

Exhaust pipe on my Mitsubishi ASX3 split in half between the back box and tail pipe. National Tyres quoted me 2500 and Mitsubishi 1900, as the exhaust is one whole part, not in sections. (Recommend anyone to investigate this before purchasing a Mitsubishi). I dropped into Bird & Yates, on the off chance, as I saw them whilst passing and in complete desperation I needed advice. No uummms?? or arghhs!!!. He just put the car up on the ramp and welded the exhaust together, like new, for 10. Absolutely amazing...regained my faith in human nature. Thanks Bird and Yates
