I was threatened by someone who had come to collect money for a parking offence I did not commit and was disputing, his tone changed significantly when he was on an unrecorded call, compared to when he had a body camera on. He didn't even try to understand my situation, kept speaking on me in an aggressive manner, telling me that he didn't care, he wasn't my counsellor. He was rude and obnoxious, threatening and aggressive. I complained to the local MP about this and Jacobs' response was completely dismissive, devoid of any empathy at all and wholly supportive of the enforcement agent. One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with.

No help at all COVID has had a big impact on my life so rang them about a missed payment an to arrange taking payment off me and they refused told me i had to pay in full or they will send the enforcement team back out to me tried explaining I could not pay in full and she was nothing but rude basically refusing to rearrange my payments for me so I told her I was recording the call an soon changed her tone but still refused to but me on to her manager, end of call not resolved and now left in debt because they will not reset a new payment plan for me

Be warned! Do not accept their terms to pay double your amount if you miss the payment date! They will force this on you - without informing you have the right to not accept! they have scammed so many people by doubling the amount you pay if you miss the payment day. You could miss it by a few hours and they'll still charge you double what you actually owed! total scammers!

If I could rate 0 star I ficking would. It's covid and I'm on furlough I'm already behind on rent and council tax. I have paid off 700 of my debt bringing me down to 260 left owing. I have been paying 50 p/m for about 2 years now, and when I ring them to ask if I can put it on hold or pay half during the rest of lockdown explaining that I'm behind on bills and I'm on furlough, I'm simply told because I'm on furlough I have to pay 50 a month, how does that make sense. They don't care about your situation they are aggressive and they are unwilling to help, once this debt is paid off i will refuse to deal with them. Dear any future companies I will not pay these people, find a different collector or don't get your money.

I was called randomly out of the blue regarding a debt ( that didn't even exist ), the establishment issuing the debt had got it wrong. Which to be honest if there was a mistake fair enough, but the phone call was very abrasive right from the get go, and towards the end was threatening. All because I wasn't willing to accept a debt that doesn't exist? I understand it's not their fault the case was wrong but this was the first contact I'd had about it, so there's no need to be aggressive or threatening and more importantly the debt didn't even exist! Clearly these guys have no idea or even the brains to correctly analyse the cases they work on.
