Closed when we visited on our waterfront walk. Grabbed a few photos of the Lifeboat crew pickup. Great views across a sunny River Mersey to the iconic Liverpool city skyline.

Well restored quaint ferry terminal. The last stop before you get to Pier Head. So here for Birkenhead and the U Boat museum.

Unfortunately we visited Covid 19 time so the ferry terminal was not open. Lovely spacious area at the front. Nice area to take pictures of the Liverpool waterfront. May visit when fully open in the future *Visited again 14th Aug '20 : Now businesses are slowly opening and people are visiting again so gained access to the terminal itself. The eateries in the main terminal are lively, lots of different choices. Also, tea, coffee and refreshments available..A nice' Cafe Creme' ice cream parlour with a large variety to choose from. A little decking area available outside to view the Mersey River also. Nice peaceful place to enjoy

Great for a day time trip. Theres the U-boat museum inside next to the ticket station which is free to enter if you get a return ticket. Also there is a nice cafe which has an upstairs with views of the Liverpool skyline. The trip across is really interesting and well worth a go.
