Nice small airport. When I went, it was almost empty because of covid. I am sure, I will take more flights from here in future.
This is where I thought of introducing RANK MARSHALLS to ensure the users of the airport were given the best service possible ...it became so successful that it was taken up by Birmingham taxi ranks and subsequently the idea was adopted countrywide used mostly at night to protect ladies whilst they were out on the town enjoying their social life .I expect it to be used world wide in all large cities where alchohol can have a severe effect on the safety of females. The departures section was well run and felt safe in terms of distancing and measures in place for protection. Nero cafe is open in the departure hall pretty much as soon as you walk in. Post immigration, Costa and Boots are the only stores open. Again, both run very well for distancing. I had a premium seat so received a 20 pound voucher to spend at either location as the lounges are shut at the time of writing. Queue management for boarding was patrolled very well.
The airport has all you need, the wait times can be long sometimes but usually are straightforward
