No refund for a flight they cancelled. Can’t get hold of em either. They won’t pick up the phone!

Arrogant, discriminative and unprofessional staff! I wish there was a zero-star rating. they have denied us boarding for giving feedback about the unnecessarily lengthy process. They took it personally and abused their authority by denying us boarding ... till the moment, 2 weeks later, they still can't provide a reason for what they have done! They had no consideration for a family with kids and for us missing work on the next day! they insulted us, shushed us and even threatened to call the police! We had all the right luggage and documents and we were there before the gate even opened. They made us wait until the next morning for the next available flight and refused to book accommodation for us. Worst flight experience ever!
Easyjet cancelled my flight to Prague among many others this summer. I was stuck in very expensive London for 2 days. I was assured that I would be refunded. This was 6 months ago. I've been nothing but courteous to Easyjet staff, but have been hung up on countless times. I've tried to deal with them through email and they always give you a 14 day waiting period to get your money back. So every two weeks you send them a new email, and a different person just sends you the same one. Absolutely the worst airline/customer service that I have ever dealt with! Do not use them if you can. They cancelled 6 Easyjet flights on the same night they cancelled mine! Complete garbage of a company!

Fly with Ryanair - far more trustworthy(!). easyJet cancelled our flight from Belfast for 'operational reasons' and told us they'd put us up in a hotel and pay expenses. I checked this with them at least 3 times (at least 3 different people), and each time they said yes, they'd pay expenses. A month later I got a 'no reply' email saying they'd rejected all my expenses, because it was 'exceptional circumstances', and legislation said they 'couldn't pay'. I contacted customer services 'chat', who said they were only customer services, and couldn't help! I asked for a transcript of that conversation to be emailed to me and they said they would send it, but didn't! Now I've called them and they said they will 'investigate', and get back to me in 21 days. I asked why so long - they said because my complaint had to get in the queue! Reading the other reviews - it seems I'm not the first to be refused promised expenses!
