Lovely food, lovely staff, the more I go to this place the more I love it. Different to the usual Indian resturant, food is not full of oil and food colouring. Different flavours. Really high quality
Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Was a lovely place, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing...even my 81 year old mother in law enjoyed the food and she won’t usually eat anything a bit different!! Highly recommend the place but make sure you book in advance as it was really busy.
What a fantastic place, this truly is an amazing restaurant. They do all the dishes you could ask for and the best part is they offer a full VEGAN menu which includes, I believe almost every curry including naan’s. The soya Chicken pieces are delicious you must try... Staff are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure, please pass on my praise to the chefs too, great food. I wish you all the success going forward.
We had a lovely meal tonight. We ordered Nepalese dishes (Momo - chicken, lamb and vegs, Prawn Puri, Everest Curry, Himalayan Garlic Lamb, Sherpa Sekuwa - chicken) which were cooked to perfection (we could ask for mild dishes without chillies which was great). Breads and desserts (Matka Kulfi and Salted Caramel Pot) were delicious too. But the best thing about the restaurant are the people who work there - friendly and attentive staff who took care of us - starting from a very nice man who booked a table for us and had a chat with me about the menu over the phone and finishing with a very lovely lady, who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is very clean. Social distancing is in place, staff has masks/visors/gloves. Sanitisers are in the entrance and inside, cold towels are being given before eating and hot towels after eating. Thank you Gorkha Lounge and see you soon!
