I have been working with Susan for just over 6 months now and as a almost complete beginner I was keen to find someone who I felt comfortable with in order to develop my Spanish conversational skills further. Susan is a methodical teacher and is also very patient with me especially when covering harder topics such as tenses and pronunciations. We not only learn the formalities of grammar as well as more relaxed conversational pieces also which is a nice mix during lesson. I love forward to my lesson every week and I can feel my confidence growing. Highly recommend!

Susan undertook some translation for a client of mine. She was professional, worked to tight deadlines and went above and beyond in actively contributing towards the marketing strategy for the campaign by making suggestions on how we could tailor our approach to a European client base. I would have no hesitation in recommending Susan for translation work.
Susan is very professional, very patient and has a variety of interesting teaching methods. She tailored my lessons to meet my needs for basic Spanish to help with holidays. She also taught my son, he really enjoyed the sessions learning colours and objects. I’d recommend quick fix language solutions to anyone who wants to learn French or Spanish at either a basic, or more in depth level.
My daughter has massively improved in both confidence and knowledge. Susan was able to provide tailored tutoring even offering an intensive course to help her deal with any weak spots before her GCSEs started. All in all a good experience.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our bespoke Spanish taster course and are planning to come back for more in the New Year. The lessons were always fun , instructive and engaging , and we moved at our pace. We have been really inspired to continue on our learning journey. Suz is an excellent teacher and we are looking forward to it.
I took spanish lessons with Susan Pollard from June to December and I really benefited from these lessons. she helped me Improve my grammar and pronunciation. She was also very flexible and friendly, if I couldn’t attend a class. I would have no hesitation taking further classes from susan or recommending her.
