Whomever started this company must of been drunk. Birmingham is a grey and unattractive city with basically a ditch full of water running past the grey and dull industrial buildings, Not sure why anyone would pay to see basically rubbish and evidently by the state of the boat, they don't.

The friendliest chandlery we’ve ever been to! All the facilities we needed were there. We wanted 12 bags of coal but they only had 4, but they delivered the other 8 the same day. Five stars fully deserved!

We took the narrow boat audio tour. The tour was well-structured, interesting and worth the money. In 70 mins it covered why canals were used, how they became prominent in Birmingham, while also pointing out canal-related landmarks we were passing and describing what our own boat was doing. I don't know why there are such mixed reviews. We had low expectations and were very impressed with the tour and its staff.

Fantastic evening on the Jerico boat. There were 41 guests for my 50th birthday. I hired it for three hours 7.30pm - 10.30pm. We danced the night away to a playlist that I had created on my ipad and which connected to the boats amplifier system. Every guest had a great time and i received lots of compliments on choosing something so different. I would suggest that you discuss your drinks requirements with the crew prior to the party to make sure the correct drinks are stocked. I paid to have the boat decorated too and it was worth it. If you want to PARTY i would recommend this boat - we all loved it ! It is something different and afterwards Brindley Place is full of bars. We ordered fish and chips and these were served to the boat at the turnaround point, again a huge success. We are a party of mixed ages 18-75 !
